Scholarship Program
As a sponsor, you make it possible for a child to attend school, have a safe place to stay, and receive daily meals.

Sustainable, Direct, Personal:

A Sponsorship Is One of the Most Meaningful Ways to Support

Many of our young members – or their families – live at or below the poverty line.

For some of our most promising talents, the dream of a good education and a financially independent life as a professional musician is out of reach due to economic hardship.

This is where our scholarship sponsorships come in.

The connection that grows through such a sponsorship is sustainable, direct, and enriching – for both you and your sponsored child.

By covering the costs of meals, accommodation, and school fees, you help us ensure long-term opportunities and educational equality.

As a sponsor, you support one child for a period of two years at a fixed rate of €280 per year (Primary School) or €380 (Secondary School).

You can find more information about the children currently seeking sponsors in the next section.

Resty Eve Namujju

Resty Eve is a quiet, thoughtful 14-year-old girl who plays an important role in the Architects of Music community. She is calm, caring, and always attentive to the needs of those around her. To the younger children, she is like an older sister; to the older ones, she is a respected peer.

Due to her family’s financial situation, Eve was unable to attend school regularly for several years. As a result, she is still in primary school at age 14. But she is all the more determined to make the most of her education. She values every opportunity to learn and works hard to succeed. Her teachers speak highly of her dedication and academic performance – and we are confident that, with the right support, she will go on to achieve an excellent school-leaving qualification.

Her dream is to one day become a teacher herself – not only to pass on knowledge, but also to offer other children what she herself was once denied: stability, encouragement, and a real chance.

Eve also shows great musical talent. She plays the recorder in our ensemble, practicing regularly with her best friend Otim – often long after the official training has ended. She loves to sing and is passionate about traditional Ugandan dance. Her favorite is Runyege, a vibrant dance from western Uganda – the region her family comes from.

Supporting Eve means giving a bright, humble, and strong young girl access to education – and the chance to build a future where she can pass it on to others, in her own caring and calm way.

Otim Innocent

Otim is 13 years old and currently attends primary school. His family is originally from northern Uganda. Within the Architects of Music community, Otim has already made his mark – he’s a dedicated, disciplined young musician, well-liked by his peers, and considered one of the most promising talents at our base.

We’ve long known that music runs in his family:
His older brother Aron is regarded as a musical prodigy among the Architects. A scholarship recipient himself, Aron has seized every opportunity with exceptional dedication and is now well on his way to becoming a professional musician. For Otim, his brother’s journey is both a daily inspiration and a powerful motivator.

Otim has become a pillar of our recorder ensemble. Alongside his best friend Eve, he practices regularly – often beyond scheduled lessons – with great attention to detail. When the two of them play together, it’s clear how much dedication and ambition they bring to their music.

Like his brother, Otim is a true multi-instrumentalist. He has a special gift for the Adungu, a traditional Ugandan harp, where his sensitivity for melody and tone shines. He also plays an active role in the rhythm section, contributing structure and drive to the group’s performances.

But Otim’s talent doesn’t end with music. He is also a standout student, showing remarkable versatility across disciplines. Whether in the sciences or the humanities, he achieves excellent results – a rare combination that reflects both his curiosity and his joy of learning.

Supporting Otim means supporting a highly gifted, motivated, and well-rounded young person – someone who not only loves music, but brings the same seriousness, perseverance, and passion to his goals as his older brother and role model does each day in pursuit of his musical future.
